Nscfl 2010 (Blessed)

Hello to whoever that is reading this. Well, if you didn't know i was just recently back from camp on the 27nov. A camp called NSCFL, also known as National School Christian Fellowship Leaders Camp. And it is indeed up and beyond. It was so much better thn i'd imagined, thn anyone had imagined i guess. Strong friendship were made and knowledge were gained. And of course not forgetting all the wonderful memories that each and everyone of us made. But i guess, the most important lesson i've learned is about God. Honestly, how great is our God?

Just the thought about camp makes me draw a smile. There is so much to tell but where to start! Okay..Doing it the traditional way, first day was definitely a little scared and nervous. Arrived pretty early at SU office, so stopped and had a cup of morning coffee with daddy at a Indian restaurant. Butterflies in my tummy were either growing bigger or giving birth as i got more and more nervous. Thn got on the same bus with Elizabeth and Christopher. Melodie, Irwin and Wee Chung were on bus B. Even if 6of us didn't got on the same bus, the journey there was still pretty great. Got to know Elizabeth more as she tells me about herself and her school. All was good. When we finally arrived, a familiar picture of the place from two years back came rushing by. It was great to be back.

The first thing we did when we arrived were pretty routine. Gathered in the hall, give smiles and made a few new friends thn it was ice-breaker. Together there were 140campers if not mistaken. And the crazies thing happened when we were all having our free time. Melodie wanted to go check out who was going to lead the worship through out the camp. So as i saw her walking towards officer Rachael and a few people who is signing up for their worship term etc etc. I just simply followed behind her. They were all discussing about the arrangement. And out of no where, Melodie and I got dragged in into singing backup. I got to admit i was shocked to hear Daniel called out my name when Rachael asked for backup singers. It was so unexpected! Honestly, i've never thought about singing in front of anyone besides in my bath room ALONE or to my family members. But that was just about it. It was a real big step up for me. Terrified, you got that right! So i'll be singing backup for both mornings on the second and third day of camp and on Saturday morning. So basically i've got the mornings and Melodie got the nights. But later on, realizing that i was actually singing not for anyone each but for God. Made me learned to push my worries aside and focus on singing my very best for God. And you know what? It turned out pretty great, and thn again something amazing happened.

Well after singing, something personal happened that really got me moody and thinking a lot. Doesn't seem right to share it here but the main part of it is that God had found a really cute way to really cheer me up. It all started when i was talking to Elizabeth during our free time. While some people were out playing captain ball and some were just simply chatting with their own click. As i was talking to Eli in the hall, both of us were sitting behind a ''hall speaker stand'' whatever that is called. Just having a normal conversation, i still remembered i asked her something regarding about singing and she told me her experiences and all. I'm not sure whether was i really even concentrating. But as i wondered my mind away, at the corner of my eyes. I spot a spiderweb hanging under the ''hall speaker stand'' thingy. Before i even realized it myself, i was already staring at it. As the wind from the air conditional blew strongly. The spiderweb flew and thn back down. As silly or unbelievable it sounds, i saw a heart shape forming on the spiderweb. Of course it didn't mean anything to me at first. And thn came dinner time, still feeling a little upset and down. One of the dish was fried nugget, and guess what's the shape of it? Coincidences! I don't think so! It might sound silly to you but it meant so much to me. Because i felt the joy within me starting to grow stronger and stronger. And i closed my eyes to think, i heard a voice saying ''It doesn't matter, I Love You''. Right there and thn i knew it was God who was speaking to me. I didn't say anything until we were all gathered in the hall for our Theme Talk like every other night. As i poured the words out of my mouth to Elizabeth and Wee Chung. I couldn't help but start to tears, this feeling is so amazing.

It might seem complicated enough but all i have to say is. When God is speaking to you or showing you signs, you'll know it when you know it. =)

I miss taking pictures after coming back from camp. But most importantly, i miss my friends and family more. Their my world and who i am today.

*bluek..

The last song.

Currently listening to...

Hey there, how ya doing? Anyway, i just finished reading this beautiful novel called ''The Last Song'' by Nichole Sparks. *Giggle  I love all his books like ''A Walk To Remember'' or or or ''The notebook'' which is just beyond.

Is funny how i could tears so easily when I'm only reading a novel. I got my mind so into it, it stops my heart or sometimes even forget to breathe. Coming to realization i catch a heavy breath. Oh, how i love a good story and a satisfied ending. It seems like there's nothing more alive then finishing a whole novel.

If you're reading this, go on Youtube and type in ''Lost Tape''. It kinda freaks me out but is good to know the truth. Don't you think?

Just the way you are.

Currently my favorite song from Gabe Bondoc.

Overnight at cousin's place for Sophia Birthday! Love her.
Pictures still with one of her friend's camera. And nope, this isn't Sophia in the picture.

I got these pretty postcards for free from some Spanish restaurant i went to a few days ago with my relatives and grandparents. Real classy and high standard place. Will blog about it soon.

Go ahead and check the link above. His such a good singer! Wish i have a voice like his.

The next time i take a picture of my wall. It ain't going to be the same no more. You'll see. =)

I'm feeling so high as if my feet ain't touching the ground. What is this feeling i sang, and think to myself. It must be my angel singing out loud. This feeling i felt, saying out load ''i never ever want it to stop'' i smile.

Here's something random, i feel like singing my lungs out now. But that's too bad, my brother invited his friend over. Which also happened to name Desmond as well. Farni.

Forget love - I'd rather fall in chocolate!

The common eye sees only the outside of things, and judges by that, but the seeing eye pierces through and reads the heart and the soul, finding there capacities which the outside didn't indicate or promise, and which the other kind couldn't detect.

Carrie Underwood - Temporary Home

Slept pretty late the night before and woke up a few hours later to get ready. Flying always get my excitement up so high and i felt as if i'm dancing on clouds. So it was pretty routine the way we got there. One of my uncle would picked us up from my house then hit the airport. Wave and thanked for the car ride then said good bye, check in and go through every single airport security with a fake smile. Walked into gate C32 and tried to looked for a sit. And start picking a sit with the least stain on it then make myself comfortable. Not long, thoughts eventually come and plays a roll in my head like a movie about all kinds of silly plane crash.

Pfft Silly..

For those who have already seen the HK picture on FB. Don't bother scrolling. Is the same. =) As for the others, enjoy.

Killed time by watching movies during my journey.

The place was so pretty and magical. Felt like a little kid again.

There's chocolate popcorn inside. Yum

We pretty much spend one whole day in Disneyland. So here goes night time.

Didn't wanted to upload the pictures of the firework that night. They were pretty horrible. One because i didn't have a standard tripod. Two because i have a really sucky view of the castle. We got there pretty late and everywhere was crowded with people. Was pretty up set tho, because i was really looking forward to it the whole day. A simple up front castle right in the middle together with the colors combination of the fireworks. Owhwell..We don't always get what we want. Do we? But i did have fun tho. =)

After the fireworks and performances. I was still pretty desperate and wasn't feeling satisfy, so while we're walking towards the exit. I got my eye fixed on the castle while i holding my camera which i've already set the shutter spend and the rest of the settings like the ISO. I was ready and when i was in the right direction. I quickly snap a picture of the castle up front. Okay, maybe the picture didn't turned out perfect but who cares. =)

I got this teddy monster for free while we were in Ocean Park. It wasn't for sale or anything, but me and my brother won it in a ball tossing game. *clap
So adorable!

The end!

Just pictures.
